GO SMALL GR...You're right Cindy and I agree ... GO SMALL GROUPS! My life has been better because of the one I'm in. But this study group that I'm in for 6 weeks is partially a different group of people. I was concerned I may be coming across too slef-centered (for lack of a better word).Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01067860711870970503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725946434224301568.post-21426456780866438822013-10-31T05:52:13.380-04:002013-10-31T05:52:13.380-04:00I used to have a hard time sharing and kept everyt...I used to have a hard time sharing and kept everything private because I didn't want people to know the life I really lived. I have learned that we weren't meant to carry our burdens alone and we can persevere much better when we have prayers and support from others. Do I tell everyone everything? No - only those I feel I can trust. Small groups were intended to be that. Not only a place to learn more about God but also a place to be real and to live life together. They are there for me but I am also there for them. Yes we all come from different pasts and have different experiences and are all going through different trieals. But as we learn and grow from our own trials, we also grow from living life with others. Think this came out as a pitch for small groups and community. Go Small Groups! If you're not in one, you should check one out :)Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05629841039731142117noreply@blogger.com
